2022 Pinot Noir/Syrah Blend

This unique wine comes from the stunning Wannamaker Vineyard located on the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge AVA. It is 91% Pinot Noir and 9% Syrah. How did this come about you may ask? As Derek was topping barrels in 2022, he ended up topping a few with the left over Syrah, these barrels were originally intended to go into a large blend. That was until he tried them and, much to his surprise, they were his favorite out of the bunch! Well you can't simply blend away your favorites, so here we are producing a unique blend of Pinot Noir and Syrah. Think all the lovely nuances of Pinot Noir with the weight, heavier fruit profile and hints of tobacco of a Syrah. Seriously, you have to try it!
